If you live in Brazil or anywhere near, you might just love this question

If you live in Brazil or anywhere near, you might just love this question...?
We are having a cultural event at school. Each team is given a country and is supposed to have a stall displaying the country's products like food, jewellery, music etc. The best awrd is given to the team which manages to show the best of their country's culture. Its all about breathing and living the country you are representing! As u can guess, my country is brazil and I would really like to display some outstanding brazilian talent. Any idea?? Also, is there any Do It yourself Brazilian dish we can have at our stall?

Brazils women are first class, get a few of them to dance around the stall, and hey presto, if the judge is male, you will not fail! ;)

Huh.

In Brazil, we dance SAMBA, you can try to dance it. lol Here, we cook CANJICA, ESFIRRA, FEIJOADA, MANDIOCA FRITA, NHOQUE, PAMONHA, PÃO DE QUEIJO, TAPIOCA, VATAPÁ... you can have canjica and esfirra at your stall, but you can't cook it there. You can do something about the football. A stall painted of green and yellow, with exhibitions of the footballers, of some pictures of the MARACANÃ. T-shirts of the brazilians footballers, etc. . :D

Brazilian main products are (1) Services, (2) Cattle, (3) Soy bean, (4) Textiles, (5) Electronics, (6) Cars, (7) Aircraft, (8) Coffee, (9) Industrialized food, and (10) MY SUGGESTIONS ARE: (1) I suggest you to print a Brazilian airplane Tucano. This is a successful aircraft sold to USA and dozen of other nations. There's a paper toy of it just here: http://www.avioesdepapel.net/capa/tucano_fuse_site_ok%20copy.pdf(body) http://www.avioesdepapel.net/capa/tucano_asa_blue_ok%20copy.pdf (wings) http://www.avioesdepapel.net/modelos/tucano_instr_des%20copy.pdf (Instructions) Website: www.avioesdepapel.net/ (2) Cook and dsitribue some Brigadiers, a delicious candy of chocolate. This is a recipe (it's very easy to prepare): www.internationalrecipes.net/find/Brigadeiro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy-k1URYWrU Here another delicious candy (Quindim): www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbQB9G3nXIw An arab snack (Kibe): www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBCbcPyZPA0 (3) Use a girl as model: Brazil is best known as a place of many beautiful top models. So, I suggest you to invite a friend to pose as a Brazilian teenager girl who wants to be a model. Your (girl) friend will represent the beauty of Brazilian women, the classical Brazilian jeans and the famous Brazilian top models. See some Brazilian girls and ask your friend to wear similar fashion o look like a Brazilian teen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_rnDgApKvQ (All are Brazilian girls. Pictures 'stolen' from Orkut.com, a similar to MySpace) More Brazilian girls: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNr5v2cJTnY (4) Print a complete farm with tractor, cattle and plants represent Brazilian agriculture (Brazil is World number 1 in cattle, soy bean and coffee): Tractor: http://www.bauernhof.net/spiel_und_spass/falthof/trecker_col.pdf Pigs: http://www.bauernhof.net/spiel_und_spass/falthof/schweine_col.pdf Cow: http://www.bauernhof.net/spiel_und_spass/falthof/kuehe_col.pdf Try to get some soy beans, also. (5) Try to purchase a Brazilian football (soccer) Jersey to wear during your presentation: www.amazon.com/BRAZIL-SOCCER-JERSEY-KIDS-sizes/dp/B0019MYSJ2 (6) Experience to use the pictures from my album to present aslide showw about Brazil (pictures are in order by theme: Politics, nation, geography, economy, products made in Brazil, commerce where Brazilians buy, ethnicity and common names in Brazil): http://www.flickr.com/photos/43869909@N02/sets/72157622517826299/ You may use some of my favorites videos in my Youtube channel to do a report before your class. I have a lot of videos about what Brazil is like, what people dress, places to visit, etc. http://www.youtube.com/user/AllAboutBrazil#g/f

Are US personal retirement pensions taxed if you live in Brazil

Are US personal retirement pensions taxed if you live in Brazil?

Depends on your plan. If it is tax deferred, yes, you will be taxed.
2 :
Of course. It's based on work you did the in the US, so it's considered US source income. As income from work, it's taxed at graduated rates (some at 10%, some at 15%, etc), not a flat 30%. (If the money is from social security, it's taxed a flat 22.5%.)
3 :
If you are a US citizen, you are taxed on worldwide income. So the taxes you would be required to pay are exactly the same as if you remained in the US. If the funds were accumulated on a tax-deferred basis, you owe taxes. If you are a US citizen or have resided in the US for a total of 8 years out of the last 15, you need long talk with your tax accountant regarding the exit tax which was imposed last July -- 42% of all assets, including unrealized gains, if you leave the US.
4 :
Yes.........you are a US citizen...........
