I would like to have a bank that is affiliated with Bradesco Bank in Brazil for the simplicity of obtaining a larger amount of funds other than what is available through ATM services. My salary can be deposited in any US bank but I need one that is flexible in this respect. Any suggestions ?

Qualquer duvida me escreva!

Here, this might help.... Banco Bradesco New York 450 Pk Ave 32nd Fl, New York, NY10022 Tel: (212) 688-9855 Web Site: www.bradesco.com Business Description: International Banking NAICS: All Other Nondepository Credit Intermediation BANKING Account Choose a Trusted Leader in Online Banking. Please keep in mind that even though Banco Bradesco New York very well might be affailated with Banco Bradesco in Brazil, they are most likely completely different entities. So if you (for example) need to draw larger amounts of cash than what an ATM machine spits out, like making out a check for "cash" and withdrawing the money, I don't think it can be done -even if you have an account with Bradesco New York. Best way to find out is visit the website mentioned above as well as check the guidelines with Bradesco in Brazil. I understand what you are trying to say. Is there anyway your employer can do a direct deposit to Bradesco Brazil? Probably not. But you also need to check with your employer. Shop around. Bank of America is another option. But please keep in mind that if your only option is wire transfer, then your must realize that funds wired to Bradesco in Brazil need to be converted to Brazilian Real at your local branch in Brazil. Which means you must physically go to your branch, fill out paperwork to obtain the money. I do not know the policies of each bank because they differ from bank to bank. But it sounds like to me that you are going to have to open an account in Brazil to make life a little easier for you.

Why worry yourself with bank to bank transfers ,, just have your check sent to your American Amigo Friend " Keith " and you can just let him know when you need some wired. I would be more then happy to keep an eye on it till then. Let me know !!! lol
